Takt Time provides a smooth operation to comply with the market place.

Takt time is nothing else than the allotment of time that we can give to the process of one piece on each cell or work station. It is the rythm of work.

"Takt" is the onomatopeyic voice for the sound of a Metronome, the device musicians utilize to give them the correct timing for the execution of notes.

This will be the result of dividing the number of minutes or seconds that we plan to work in a given day or shift, into the number of product units we have to process in that period of time in order to comply with our customers' orders.
